Story of what led to the Trump Truth Store

My Story

My Awakening Moment

After the 2020 election results, I felt inspired to seek the truth. This journey has taken me through various discoveries—some may be true, while others may not. Ultimately, the goal is to open your mind and cultivate your third eye. As an atheist for most of my life, this path has surprisingly led me back to God.

My Moment of Courage Over Fear

In April 2021, I decided to get a Trump flag. The package sat on my counter for about a month. Like it was yesterday, I remember the anxiety I felt every time I thought about displaying it. I wondered what kind of drama this would bring; I had already been laughed at for voting for Trump by a few people across the street.  Finally, one day, something got me frustrated, and I came inside, grabbed the flag and hung it up.

To my surprise, I received a lot of positive feedback from my neighbours as they passed by. They would give me thumbs up, smile, and shout, “I love your flag!” Encouraged by their reactions, I decided to get a Trump shirt that read, “Red, White, and Trump.” I wore that shirt on Memorial Day and went for a walk. I still remember the knots in my stomach as I walked down the block, passing my neighbours on the sidewalk. I smiled at them, unsure if they were Trump supporters or not, and felt shy about engaging in conversation.

I had uncovered new insights in my search for truth, and I wanted to discuss my findings with someone. However, I knew that bringing up my views with someone who held opposing opinions could ruin my day. It was a strange feeling; I wanted to connect with others who shared my sentiments. During my walk, I kept thinking that if I knew which side my neighbours were on, I would feel more comfortable starting a conversation.

That's when I realized I had a mission: What if I opened a store to encourage others to display their truths? What if everyone had the convenience of a store where we could shop as a group and overcome any fear or anxiety together? Together, we could break the silence. And that is how and why I started this Trump Truth store.
